About Cannabis Means Business (CMB)
Cannabis Means Business (CMB) is the rebranded successor to the Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBE), which has been operated by Leading Edge Expositions since 2014. The 2026 edition marks the first under the new CMB name.
The event returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City (Hall 1C) on June 3–4, 2026. With New York's adult-use cannabis market still building out, CMB serves as a critical gathering point for operators, investors, and service providers looking to engage with the country's largest emerging legal market.
2026 Schedule
- June 2 (Pre-Show): B2B Rooftop Bash and Industry Yacht Party networking events
- June 3–4: Main conference and expo at the Javits Center
Format
CMB is strictly B2B. The event is not open to consumers and focuses entirely on cannabis business professionals: operators, investors, attorneys, consultants, equipment vendors, and ancillary service providers serving the New York and Northeast markets.
The Rebrand
The transition from CWCBE to Cannabis Means Business reflects an industry-wide shift toward more focused, more clearly branded events. The new site at cannabismeansbusiness.com is currently under construction; cwcbexpo.com still functions for registration in the meantime.
