About the 2026 NCIA Event

The National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) is the cannabis industry's primary trade association and lobby group. NCIA's 14th Annual Cannabis Industry Lobby Days & National Stakeholder Summit is confirmed for May 12–14, 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.

2026 Schedule

  • May 12 — National Stakeholder Summit: Open to all attendees for $100. Programming covers federal policy, industry trends, and stakeholder engagement.
  • May 13–14 — Lobby Days: NCIA member-only sessions with organized congressional meetings on Capitol Hill.

About Lobby Days

Lobby Days brings cannabis business owners to Capitol Hill to meet directly with members of Congress and their staff. This is the industry's most important advocacy event — a chance for real business operators to put a face on the cannabis industry and push for federal reform.

  • Pre-scheduled meetings with Congressional offices
  • Advocacy training and talking-point preparation
  • Policy briefings on pending federal legislation
  • Networking with other industry advocates

Important Note: Cannabis Business Summit on Hiatus

NCIA's flagship business event, the Cannabis Business Summit, historically drew about 8,000 attendees but has been on apparent hiatus since July 2022. NCIA has shifted to the smaller Stakeholder Summit format combined with Lobby Days. As of April 2026, no return of the larger Business Summit has been announced.
