NoteDiscontinued after 2025. Replaced by Industrial Hemp International (IHI).
Officially Discontinued: NoCo Hemp Expo was retired after its 2025 edition, ending an 11-year run. The event has a successor: Industrial Hemp International (IHI), which held its first edition March 25–27, 2026 in Denver, Colorado.

About NoCo Hemp Expo

NoCo Hemp Expo was the premier hemp-focused conference and expo in the United States for over a decade. Held annually in the Denver, Colorado area (typically March or April), it pre-dated the 2018 Farm Bill that federally legalized hemp, giving it deep roots in the hemp advocacy community.

For 11 years, NoCo Hemp Expo served as the meeting ground for the rapidly evolving hemp and CBD industry. The event covered hemp agriculture, cannabinoid products, industrial applications, and policy — bringing together a unique mix of farmers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and advocates.

The Successor: Industrial Hemp International (IHI)

Industrial Hemp International (IHI) launched in 2026 as the successor event to NoCo Hemp Expo. Its inaugural edition was held in Denver in late March 2026, continuing the tradition of bringing the hemp industry together in Colorado.

While IHI is a new brand, it inherits much of NoCo's audience and continues programming on:

  • Hemp agriculture: Cultivation practices, seed genetics, and farming economics
  • CBD and cannabinoid products: Extraction, formulation, and product development
  • Industrial hemp: Fiber, building materials, bioplastics, and sustainability applications
  • Regulatory compliance: Farm Bill regulations, state-level rules, and testing requirements
  • Policy and advocacy: Legislative updates and industry advocacy efforts

Why Hemp Events Are Restructuring

The hemp industry has experienced significant turbulence since the 2018 Farm Bill's initial euphoria. Oversupply, market crashes, and regulatory uncertainty around intoxicating hemp-derived products like Delta-8 have forced many hemp brands and events to consolidate or rebrand. NoCo's discontinuation reflects this broader industry restructuring.
